Black Women in Science
Black History is American History is a year-long curriculum that introduces students to the parts of American History that are often relegated to electives and special occasions.
This particular curriculum is for ages 7-12 and is based around the theme Black Revolutionaries.
The curriculum is broken up into four quarters:
The theme for the year is Black Revolutionaries and all the lessons and activities will focus on the revolutionary ways that Black people have impacted history.
The lessons will be divided into four subject areas over four quarters:
Winter Quarter (released in January 2018): Language Arts - Harlem Renaissance
Spring Quarter (released in April 2018): STEM
Summer Quarter (released in July 2018): Social Studies - Activism
Fall Quarter (released in October 2018): The Arts
